Katie has combined her love for exercise and dance into cutting edge Pilates routines using reformers, mats, Bosu balls, and the barre. She also offers TRX (suspension training), allowing each client to work with his or her own body weight to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability.
Always interested in health and fitness, Katie is also an expert at developing personal training regiments that are constantly evolving to meet the development needs of her clients. No two sessions are ever the same!
After more than four years of rigorous education and an additional three years of personal training experience, Katie has opened her own custom fitness studio.

Ballet, jazz dancing, and cheerleading were major influences in Katie’s upbringing in Orange County, California. Starting dance at age 3 and capping off her dance/cheer career coaching a Pop Warner National Champion cheer squad at age 16, exercise and dance have been the background of Katie’s life.
Earning both her high school diploma and her California cosmetology license by age 18 Katie was ready for a challenge and a change of scenery. That adventurous spirit found her at her parents’ alma mater, Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Lonely and cold in her new northern Minnesota home, Katie relied on the pursuits of her past to see her through the challenging coursework and long, dark winters. The university had a state-of-the-art wellness center right across the street from her dormitory and Katie found herself there every day trying out new machines, taking classes, and meeting students who shared her same health and fitness interests. Midway through her freshman year Katie changed her major from business to exercise science and the rest – as they say – is history.
